what are the different cost of owning a horse?

Before buying a horse there are numerous costs to consider.
These greatly vary on where you live and what you are planning on doing with your horse (ie: occassional riding, companion, competition, work horse).

Some general costs to consider are:
Feed, as unless it is being spelled in a very grassy paddock they will need both hay and probaly hard feed.
Worming every month
Shoeing every 6 to 8 weeks
Boarding costs, unless you have your own property
Tack and equipment
Dentist- which should come once a year
Injections- once a year

There are just afew major considerations.
Don’t forget to factor in accidental veterinary costs.
This is also based on a companion or a lesurely riding horse.
