If you have any cool (can be random) horse facts that would be amazing! Thanks alot! Please dont be mean and talk about killing or slaughtering horses (you know what I mean)!
1.) a horse will completly regrow its hoofs every 11 months.
2.) A newborn foal can stand up in an hour after it is born and can gallop with its mother after 2 hours
3.) A Quarter horse got its name for the fastest horse over a short distance, (quarter of a mile)
4.) Race horses are sometimes raced as young as two years old (i don’t agree with this but it is true.)
5.) Horses have some sort of tendon that locks one leg in the standing position if they fall asleep, this is to ensure that they dont have to sleep on the ground all the time. It is easier then sleeping on the ground!
6.) horses only need 15 minutes of deep sleep, (dreaming) every 24 hours
